About Northern Berks County
National Night Out
National Night Out is a nationwide initiative that promotes strong community partnerships between law enforcement and the neighborhoods they serve. Each year, on the first Tuesday in August, communities across the country come together for an evening of fun, safety, and connection.
Here in Northern Berks County, five local police departments proudly collaborate to host a shared event filled with family-friendly activities, demonstrations, giveaways, and opportunities for neighbors to meet the officers who protect and serve them.
We are committed to keeping this a free event for our community, made possible through the generous support of local sponsors, volunteers, and community partners. In appreciation, we invite you to join us in supporting these businesses throughout the year — their continued generosity helps make this night possible.
It’s more than just a night out — it’s a celebration of unity, trust, and the power of community.
Thank you!
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to everyone participating in the 2025 Northern Berks County National Night Out. As you know, this has become a very important event for our community. Over the last several years, we’ve joined forces to include Police Departments from Northern Berks Regional, Bern Township, Fleetwood Borough, Hamburg Borough, and Tilden Township creating an even larger event.
The support from our community has been amazing,
and it really makes this a great event that is enjoyed by many. It’s heartwarming to see local businesses and community groups join together with local law enforcement agencies to promote
police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie.
Thank you so much for your continued support.
Sincerely,
Chief Jim Keiser - Northern Berks Regional Police Department
